Excellent water quality and a wide range of activities
The crystal clear water and visibility depths of up to 20 meters make the Kulkwitzer See one of the most popular diving areas in Germany. You can also swim, cycle, hike and go boating at Lake Kulkwitzer See. There is a boat rental with water treaders and rowing boats as well as stand-up paddle and kayak. The water ski lift on the northeastern shore of the lake is particularly popular. In the cold season, those looking for warmth will get their money's worth in the Meri sauna on the western bank.
Nearby trams and the S-Bahn take you to the city of Leipzig in about 30 minutes. We are also easily accessible via the A9 motorway.
Wonderful location for enthusiastic campers
Our campsite, located directly on the water and between the trees, invites you to spend the most beautiful time of the year with us at the Kulkwitzer See.
On an approx. 400 meter long Peninsula on the east bank of the Kulkwitzer See Our campsite for around 200 campers is located under shady trees. Here you will find three large sanitary buildings with toilets, showers, washbasins and a children's bathroom. A few steps lead you to our sandy beach, while the children can play on the playground at the Seegarten snack bar. You will like the friendly Scandinavian architecture and the private, calm character of the peninsula.
Of course you can pitch your tents longer with us, so there is the possibility of seasonal camping and permanent camping:
